Description
O Herbário Dárdano de Andrade Lima, cujo acrônimo internacional é MOSS, foi fundado na década de 80 através do projeto Flora do Nordeste. Possui um acervo temático, com 90% dos 9800 registros provenientes do Estado do Rio Grande do Norte. No acervo estão representados grupos de Criptógamas: Algas, Briófitas e Pteridófitas e Fanerógamas: Gimonospermas e Angiospermas. Angiosperma está melhor representado, com 109 famílias de Dicotiledôneas e 29 de Monocotiledôneas. O Herbário MOSS está aberto a empréstimos, permutas, doações e identificações.
