Description
O acervo de Hymenoptera da coleção DZUP contém aproximadamente 500 mil exemplares montados e etiquetados. A maior parte do material, cerca de 340 mil espécimes, pertence à família Apidae (abelhas). O acervo abriga um grande número de tipos primários de espécies de abelhas descritas, principalmente aquelas descritas pelo Padre Moure e pela Profa. Danúncia Urban, com cerca de 600 holótipos no total.
