Description
O acervo micológico da coleção UFRN-Fungos compreende cerca de 3.000 exemplares coletados, principalmente, em diferentes municípios da região Nordeste do Brasil, destacando-se 19 tipos: Abrachium floriforme, Amanita viscidolutea, Calvatia nodulata,Clathrus cristatus, Cyathus calvescens, C. hortensis, C. magnomuralis, C. parvocinereus,Glomus trufemii, Geastrum aculeatum, G. echinulatum, G. entomophilum, G. hirsutum, G. rusticum, Lepidostroma caatingae Morganella arenicola, M. nuda, M. rimosa, Phallus pygmaeus. As famílias mais representativas em número de espécies são Geastraceae e Lycoperdaceae.
